Basketball Recap: East Ascension Takes a Loss

East Ascension fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against University Lab on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the University Lab Cubs 68-64. The Spartans have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

East Ascension's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for University Lab, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.

East Ascension will welcome Prairieville on Tuesday. As for University Lab, they and Catholic will meet on Tuesday for a tough Bear Battle.
