The Brooklyn Tech Engineers will head out on the road to challenge Sunset Park at 5:00 p.m. Brooklyn Tech has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three matches.
Brooklyn Tech posted their biggest win since December 6, 2023 on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 58-36 margin over Bushwick.
It was another big night for Troy Hornbeck, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Baseer Mirza, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Sunset Park suffered their biggest loss since November 29, 2023 on Wednesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 68-46 walloping at the hands of Gaynor.
Brooklyn Tech's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Sunset Park, they bumped their record down to 2-7 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Brooklyn Tech was able to grind out a solid win over Sunset Park in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 51-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brooklyn Tech since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
