Johnson has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.4 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They lost 14-4 to the Christian Brothers Falcons. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Ivette Villar was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. Those runs marked the first that she scored this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Johnson fell to 4-1. As for Christian Brothers, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
