Gloucester is a perfect 10-0 against Phoebus since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Dukes will look to defend their home field against the Phantoms at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Gloucester has 15 straight wins, Phoebus has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Gloucester's victory against Bethel wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Dukes never let the Bruins get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Thursday. The one-run effort marked the Dukes' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Phoebus' offense. They came up short against Kecoughtan on Thursday, falling 14-0.

Gloucester's victory was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.6 runs over those games. As for Phoebus, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Everything went Gloucester's way against Phoebus when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Gloucester made off with a 13-1 victory. Do the Dukes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Phantoms turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
