Volleyball Recap: Capistrano Valley Comes Up Short

Capistrano Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the San Clemente Tritons. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cougars have suffered since August 19th.

Capistrano Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for San Clemente, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-7.

Looking ahead, Capistrano Valley will square off against Mission Viejo at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Clemente, they will be playing at home against Aliso Niguel at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
