Softball Recap: Terrell Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Terrell's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Mesquite Skeeters on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Terrell has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Mesquite, they pushed their record up to 10-5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Terrell wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-6 victory against Nimitz on the 28th. As for Mesquite, they will head out to take on DeSoto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Skeeters their first taste of in-conference action this season.
