George West had won two straight games and Tristen Blevins did his part to make it three on Saturday. The George West Longhorns blew past the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats 55-20 thanks in part to Blevins, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of George West's points.

William Balew was another key player, going 5 for 8 on his way to 13 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games.

George West's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Skidmore-Tynan, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
