Basketball Recap: Shepherd Comes Up Short

Shepherd lost against Alma back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Shepherd Bluejays took a 45-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alma Panthers. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shepherd's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Alma, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Shepherd Bluejays take on the Ogemaw Heights Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Alma, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bridgeport at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
