Baseball Recap: Six Straight Home Victories for Fredonia

Fredonia had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Allegany-Limestone on Friday. The Hillbillies never let the Gators get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Hillbillies haven't had any issues with the Gators recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Fredonia's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Allegany-Limestone, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Fredonia will head out to take on Gowanda at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Allegany-Limestone will be paying especially close attention to the Hillbillies' contest: after the Hillbillies face off against the Panthers, they'll take on Allegany-Limestone again at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
