Kirbyville put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hardin Hornets a 10-0 shutout. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Kirbyville's record now sits at 17-6. As for Hardin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Kirbyville and Hardin will both be playing Anahuac the next time they take the field. Kirbyville will head out to face Anahuac at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while Hardin will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
