Softball Recap: Stillman Valley's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Stillman Valley won the last time they faced Winnebago and things went their way on Monday too. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Indians. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by nine runs or more this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Stillman Valley, bringing their record up to 10-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Winnebago, they dropped their record down to 8-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Stillman Valley will square off against rival Rock Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Winnebago is set to challenge their familiar foe Oregon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
