Volleyball Game Preview: Rains Wildcats vs. Lone Oak Buffaloes

The Rains Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Lone Oak Buffaloes at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Rains came up short against Prairiland and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Lone Oak also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Chisum by a score of 3-1.

Lone Oak started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-13, 25-22, 25-20.

Rains' loss dropped their record down to 6-27. As for Lone Oak, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-11.

Rains couldn't quite get it done against Lone Oak when the teams last played back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
