L'Anse Creuse North entered their tilt with Lapeer on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lightning.

L'Anse Creuse North's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Lapeer, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's still a better percentage than their 1-6-1 record this season.

L'Anse Creuse North and Lapeer will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Crusaders see the court they'll take on Utica Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on September 3. As for Lapeer, their break will end when they face Oxford at 7:00 p.m. on September 3.
