Softball Game Preview: Clarksburg Rockets vs. West Carroll War Eagles

Clarksburg is 2-8 against West Carroll since March of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Clarksburg will host West Carroll at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Clarksburg came up short against Halls on Friday, falling 9-1. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clarksburg saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Belew, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for West Carroll's offense. They lost 11-0 to Peabody on Monday. The War Eagles have struggled against the Golden Tide recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Clarksburg's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for West Carroll, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
