Perquimans won the last time they faced Gates County and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Pirates put the hurt on the Red Barons with a sharp 15-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won ten matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Perquimans is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games.
