Volleyball Recap: East Jordan Takes a Loss

East Jordan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pellston Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

East Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-3. As for Pellston, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. East Jordan will head out to challenge Mancelona at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pellston, they will square off against Johannesburg-Lewiston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
