Volleyball Recap: Thompson Valley Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Thompson Valley lost 3-0 to Valor Christian. Thompson Valley has struggled against Valor Christian recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Valor Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harper Scott, who had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces Scott has posted since October 2nd. Lily Bowers also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Thompson Valley's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Valor Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.

Thompson Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Rampart on the 31st. As for Valor Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Eaton on the 31st.
