Volleyball Recap: El Modena Vanguards vs. Upland Highlanders/Scots
El Modena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Upland Highlanders/Scots. The Vanguards were not able to make up for their defeat to the Highlanders/Scots from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.
El Modena's loss dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Upland, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-13.
El Modena wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Northview on the 11th. As for Upland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Costa Mesa on the 11th.
