Jessica Cantrell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out 17 over seven innings pitched. Cantrell has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive pitching appearances. Cantrell was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with a home run and a double.
In other batting news, Jaylan Roberson was incredible, going 1-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. Dani King was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
