Volleyball Recap: Prairiland Takes a Loss

Prairiland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bells Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Prairiland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Bells, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Prairiland and Bells will both be playing Pilot Point the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Bearcats at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Patriots will play them later in the day, at 1:45 p.m.
