Volleyball Recap: Waverly Warriors vs. Everett Vikings

Waverly's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Everett Vikings 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted since October 1st.

While Waverly won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-22, 25-20.

Lily Shaw paced Waverly's offense, picking up five kills. Shaw got some help from Victoria Carter and her 11 assists. Keira Adams controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Waverly's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 8-19-2. As for Everett, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-24.
