Treasure Coast hasn't had much luck against Vero Beach recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Titans will face off against the Indians at 7:00  p.m.
Treasure Coast came up short against  Jensen Beach on Thursday, falling  7-1. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Treasure Coast got a good showing from  Jacob Contreras, who   pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Contreras has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Treasure Coast saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Charles Permann, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-1.
Meanwhile, Vero Beach came tearing into  Friday's  matchup with five straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   9-4  victory over the Panthers.
 Sebastian Dimitroff looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Jace Romans, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run and four  RBI. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Caleb Wood, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Vero Beach was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dwyer only posted a  batting average of  .214.
 Vero Beach pushed their record up to 22-1 with the  win, which was their 11th straight  on the road. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Treasure Coast, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Treasure Coast has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3.2  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Vero Beach struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 4.1  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Treasure Coast came up short against Vero Beach in their previous meeting  back in March, falling  8-3. Can the Titans avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
