Volleyball Recap: Emma Easton and Lilli Schmitt Secure Win for Sunnyslope + How To Watch

Sunnyslope's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Desert Vista Thunder. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Thunder: they've now won six in a row.

While Sunnyslope might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Desert Vista scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Leading Sunnyslope to victory were Lilli Schmitt and Emma Easton. Schmitt had 35 assists and 14 digs, while Easton had 24 digs and four assists. That's the most assists Schmitt has posted over her last five matchups. Another player making a difference was Maebelle Perkins, who had 15 digs.

Sunnyslope's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 16-7. As for Desert Vista, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-13.
