Basketball Recap: Madelia's Losing Streak Snapped at Ten Games

Madelia can finally bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Saturday. They blew past the Red Rock Central Falcons 62-42. The Blackhawks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Madelia's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Red Rock Central, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madelia will head out to face off against Medford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Red Rock Central, they are taking a road trip to square off against Renville County West at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Red Rock Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
