Baseball Recap: ALA - West Foothills Guardians vs. River Valley Dust Devils
ALA - West Foothills had won four straight at home, but on Monday they bumped their record up to 18-7 to make it five. They came out on top against the River Valley Dust Devils by a score of 11-7. The high-scoring effort was just what the Guardians needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.
Jackson Slade made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over 4.2 innings pitched. Slade was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.
