Basketball Recap: Chanhassen Takes a Loss

Chanhassen won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were beaten by the Orono Spartans 88-51. While losing is never fun, the Storm can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Spartans are ranked 11th).

Chanhassen's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Orono, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Chanhassen has already played their next match (against Shakopee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Orono didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 98-63 win against Waconia on the 27th.
