Basketball Recap: Ledford Has No Trouble Against Montgomery Central

After losing to Montgomery Central the last time they met, Ledford decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Ledford Panthers were the clear victor by a 65-42 margin over the Montgomery Central Timberwolves on Friday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Ledford is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Montgomery Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.

Ledford will square off against Oak Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Grove will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Ledford surely won't give up without a fight. As for Montgomery Central, they will challenge Central Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
