The Church Point Bears just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Church Point will be strutting in after a win while Episcopal of Acadiana will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Church Point humbled Grand Lake with a 62-30 victory. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Hornets are ranked 279th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Episcopal of Acadiana was beaten by Lacassine 75-27 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now lost nine in a row.

Church Point pushed their record up to 21-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.2 points. As for Episcopal of Acadiana, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-17.
