Volleyball Game Preview: Midlothian Trojans vs. Deep Run Wildcats

The Midlothian Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Deep Run Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Thursday, Midlothian got the win against Monacan by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Meanwhile, Deep Run made easy work of James River Midlothian on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Rapids recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Deep Run's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Midlothian, their win bumped their record up to 18-1.

Midlothian couldn't quite get it done against Deep Run in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
