Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Hannah Mcneece and Maiya Jones Lead Mt. Vernon to Victory

Mt. Vernon won the last time they faced Evansville Harrison and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 22-25, 25-23.

Leading Mt. Vernon to victory were Maiya Jones and Hannah McNeece. Jones had 14 digs and two aces, while McNeece had 25 digs. What's more, Jones racked up 29 assists, the most she's had since back in September.
