Softball Recap: Eastchester Eagles vs. John Jay Wolves
Eastchester had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the John Jay Wolves 7-6. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won six in a row.

Sabrina Cosgrove spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up 15 Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game.
