Softball Recap: SA S Comes Up Short

The SA S Saints didn't have quite enough to beat the Moulton Bobkatz on Saturday and fell 3-2. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jo Kusenberger made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of A Garcia, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

SA S' defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Moulton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-10.

Looking ahead, SA S will take on New Braunfels Thunder at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints will need to watch out since the Homeschool have now posted at least ten runs in their last seven matches. As for Moulton, they will challenge Leakey on Saturday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bobkatz surely won't give up without a fight.
