Softball Recap: South Point Comes Up Short

South Point lost against Wayne back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pointers fell 5-2 to the Pioneers. The Pointers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Adyson Copley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Gracie Carmon also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

South Point's record now sits at 10-6. As for Wayne, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Point will head out to challenge Fairland at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wayne, they will venture away from home to face off against Poca at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
