Basketball Recap: Leedey Comes Up Short

Leedey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-52 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hammon Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bison of the 49-46 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Leedey's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hammon, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Leedey and Hammon will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Bison see the court they'll take on Fargo/Gage at 8:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Hammon, their break will end when they face Shattuck at 8:00 p.m. on December 9.
