Basketball Game Preview: Basalt Longhorns vs. Plateau Valley Cowboys + How To Watch

Having just played yesterday, the Basalt Longhorns will jump right back in to play the Plateau Valley Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Basalt had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 65-25 loss at the hands of Banning Lewis Academy.

Meanwhile, Plateau Valley lost 89-63 to Roaring Fork on Thursday.

Basalt will need to focus on slowing down London Mitchell, one of several Plateau Valley players who made an impact when they last played. He shot 55% from the field on his way to 24 points and six boards. Colter Ralston was another key player, going 7-for-16 en route to 22 points and three blocks.
