Commerce waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wyandotte Bears 54-27. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Bears are ranked 374th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Commerce's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.7 points over those games. As for Wyandotte, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Commerce wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 76-35 win against Oklahoma Union on the 10th. As for Wyandotte, they have also already played their next contest, a 44-36 victory against Afton on the 11th.
