Softball Recap: Port Aransas Comes Up Short

Port Aransas entered their match against Odem on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Port Aransas Marlins lost 14-3 to the Odem Owls. The game marked the Marlins' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Port Aransas' loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Odem, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-9.

Coming up, Port Aransas will face off against Aransas Pass at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aransas Pass is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Odem, they are taking a road trip to take on Sinton at 6:30 p.m. on March 4th.
