Softball Recap: Twin Valley Comes Up Short

Twin Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 15-1 to Long Trail. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Twin Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sara Dix, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run. Dix has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Another was Peyton Davis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Twin Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Long Trail, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Twin Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Windsor at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Long Trail, they will venture away from home to challenge Proctor at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
