Wallkill Valley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Belvidere, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rangers blew past the County Seaters 10-1 on Friday. For the Rangers, this counts as revenge for the 9-1 victory the County Seaters walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Wallkill Valley has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs this season. As for Belvidere, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Wallkill Valley will be playing at home against Newton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belvidere, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Somerville on the 5th.
