Soccer Recap: Danville Takes Down Indian Creek in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Danville rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They never let the Indian Creek Braves get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Danville's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 88th, while Indian Creek are ranked 213th).

Danville now has a winning record of 6-5-4. As for Indian Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Danville will square off against Cascade at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Danville come in on four and Cascade on five. Indian Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
