Varsity Opponent came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Heritage Christian Academy, but Matthew Pappas wouldn't allow it. The Lions really took it to Varsity Opponent for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-19 victory with plenty of help from Pappas, who shot 67% from the field en route to 28 points and four steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Wes Peters was another key player, putting up eight points and ten assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Heritage Christian Academy now has a winning record of 3-2.

Heritage Christian Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Coram Deo Academy Rhetoric at 6:00 p.m. on December 1. As for Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-42 defeat against Tabernacle Christian on the 21st.
