Noah Gray leads Bozeman to victory over Rocky Bayou Christian

Recap: Bozeman Bucks vs. Rocky Bayou Christian Knights

The Bozeman Bucks entered their tilt with the Rocky Bayou Christian Knights with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. Bozeman enjoyed a cozy 63-46 win over Rocky Bayou Christian on Friday. Given Bozeman's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 200th, while Rocky Bayou Christian is ranked 530th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Noah Gray was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamie Hernandez, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.

Rocky Bayou Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Noah Lynch and Carver Knapp. Lynch scored 18 points along with eight rebounds, while Knapp scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. It was the first time this season that Lynch scored 15 or more points. Devin Hicks was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven assists and three steals.

Bozeman has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season. As for Rocky Bayou Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

Bozeman will face off against Graceville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bozeman is coming into the matchup with eight straight victories on the road, meaning Graceville will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. As for Rocky Bayou Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pensacola Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
