After a string of three wins, Purcell Marian's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. Neither they nor the Northwest Knights could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Purcell Marian's first draw of the season.

Ariana Bailey and Tylee Littlejohn scored both of Purcell Marian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 33 goals.

Purcell Marian's draw gives them a new season record of 6-4-1. Meanwhile, Northwest's record is now 2-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Purcell Marian will welcome Stivers School for the Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northwest, they will be playing at home against St. Bernard-Elmwood Place at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
