Union Springs has gone a perfect 9-0 against Southern Cayuga recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Meanwhile, while Southern Cayuga put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Newark Valley. The Chiefs blew past the Cardinals 12-0.

Union Springs' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Southern Cayuga, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Union Springs came out on top in a nail-biter against Southern Cayuga when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 7-6.
