Football Recap: Boyertown Takes a Loss

Boyertown and North Penn squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Boyertown had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 42-14 loss at the hands of the Knights. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Boyertown's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for North Penn, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Boyertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Penn, they will face off against Souderton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians' defense has only allowed 7.8 points per game this season, so the Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them.
