For the second straight game, North Star will face off against Troy. The Huskies will face off against the Trojans at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. North Star is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 14.4 runs per game this season.

North Star heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Friday. They fell just short of Troy by a score of 12-11. The Huskies' loss signaled the end of their 16-game winning streak.

For Troy's part, Makhi Durrett was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two triples, five RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave Durrett a new career-high. Rowan Tyler was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Troy has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for North Star, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-3.

Both North Star and Troy just can't seem to miss. The Huskies have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Troy struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.3 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
