Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Cole Riner and Jamir Muhammad Lead Flint River Academy to Victory

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Flint River Academy walked away with it. They came out on top against LaGrange Academy by a score of 51-43 on Tuesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 43-40 victory two weeks ago.

Leading Flint River Academy to victory were Jamir Muhammad and Cole Riner. Muhammad dropped a double-double with 17 points and 21 boards, while Riner posted 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Muhammad a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of D. J. Baums, who scored six points and 12 rebounds.

Flint River Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for LaGrange Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Flint River Academy nor LaGrange Academy have any future games scheduled.
