Baseball Recap: Marathon Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Marathon's offense. They came up short against the Whitney Point Eagles on Friday, falling 6-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Olympians of the 4-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Marathon now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Whitney Point, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Coming up, Marathon will head out on the road to take on Union Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Whitney Point, they will host Dryden at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
