Fairmont won the last time they faced Clinton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Golden Tornadoes walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Dark Horses. Surprisingly, this marked the Golden Tornadoes' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Jamey Quinata was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Bullock, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Fairmont's record is now 6-12. As for Clinton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Fairmont will have a chance to go back-to-back against Clinton: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
