Basketball Recap: Thunder Ridge Falls Short of Tescott in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Thunder Ridge can now relate to. They fell just short of the Tescott Trojans by a score of 49-46 on Tuesday. The Longhorns just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, Thunder Ridge still got an impressive performance from Evan Slavik, who almost dropped a double-double with 26 points and nine boards. That's the most points Slavik has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Declan Tweedy, who scored 13 points along with eight assists and five rebounds.

Thunder Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Tescott, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-10.

As of now, neither Thunder Ridge nor Tescott have any future games scheduled.
